LaKrause headpieces are all one-of-a-kind, handcrafted designs that take inspiration from the stylish and glamorous hats and headpieces of the past.  From fascinators and cocktail hats to bridal veils, headbands and hair adornments, LaKrause pieces are created and embellished using feathers, fine silks, netting, vintage and heirloom jewellery, and other interesting found objects. LaKrause combines classic forms with modern ideas to create unique, fashionable pieces that make a big statement.

Lori-Anne Krausewitz has an Honours BFA from York University, where she specialized in sculpture and drawing. She established her line, LaKrause, in 2008, drawing influence from her formal training as well as her grandmother’s impeccable style and her collection of hats, vintage buttons and findings.

Currently based in Toronto, Lori-Anne is experimenting with new materials, found things, and perfecting her millinery work. Look for her new line of bridal headpieces and vintage-inspired hats and other accessories.
